Prions-la avec confiance!..Let us pray her in confidence!

Ce midi, à l'occasion du 13 octobre, je disais le chapelet avec des amis. Afin de bien nous préparer, nous écoutions un montage relatant les apparitions de Fatima:
«Ce 13 octobre 1917, malgré la pluie, la foule était au nombre de 50 000 à 60 000 personnes! Certains étaient venus de très loin pour assister à l'apparition promise. Parmi cette masse de gens, des incroyants étaient eux aussi là, prêts à intervenir dans le cas où il ne se produirait pas le miracle annoncé par Notre-Dame.
Pour la première fois, la mère de Lucie pensa au drame qui pourrait survenir si le miracle du Ciel ne se produisait pas, tandis que les parents de François et de Jacinthe, eux, avaient une grande confiance envers les promesses de la Vierge; quant aux enfants, ils ne se troublaient pas du tout devant une si imposante foule.»
Il est important d'avoir une grande confiance en l'intercession de Marie: à quoi cela sert-il de s'inquiéter comme la mère de Lucie? Dans l'inquiétude, nous perdons toute paix et sérénité, alors qu'en mettant notre confiance en Marie, celle-ci ne peut que tenir ses promesse et nous combler. Elle voit à notre plus grand bien. Prions-la avec confiance !

At noon today, on the occasion of October 13th, I was praying the rosary with friends. In order to prepare ourselves properly, we listened to a documentary chronicling the apparitions of Fatima:
"On this October 13, 1917, despite the rain, the crowd was numbered to be from 50 000 to 60 000 people! Some came from far away to attend the promised apparition. Among this mass of people, non-believers were also there; ready to intervene should the miracle announced by Our Lady not occur.
For the first time, the mother of Lucia thought of the tragedy that could occur if the miracle from heaven did not occur, while Francisco and Jacinta's parents had great confidence in the Virgin's promises; as for the children, they were not troubled at all before such a large crowd."
It is important to have great confidence in the intercession of Mary, what is the use of worrying, as did the mother of Lucia? When we worry, we lose all peace and serenity, while in placing our trust in Mary, she can only but keep her promises and fulfill us. She sees to our greater good. Let us pray her in confidence!
