Aujourd’hui je ne peux que remercier Marie pour toutes les grâces reçues à travers le chapelet et particulièrement le rosaire. Bien que la récitation du rosaire n’ait jamais touché ma sensibilité, ses bienfaits sont cependant très mesurables: ma volonté reprend des forces, mon intelligence est souvent éclairée, et dans certains moments d’épreuves, je reprends goût à m’abandonner toujours davantage à la volonté de Dieu et mon enthousiasme à le servir se renouvelle.

Recevez Marie, en ce 13 octobre, jour anniversaire de votre apparition à Fatima, tout mon amour et ma reconnaissance envers vous.

Today I can only but thank Mary for all the graces received through the rosary and especially the complete rosary. While reciting the rosary has never appealed to my sensitivity, its benefits are very measurable: my will gets stronger, my intelligence is often enlightened, and in certain moments of trial, I once again find the desire to give myself more and more to God's will and my enthusiasm to serve Him is renewed.

May you receive Mary, on this day of October 13th, the anniversary of your apparition in Fatima, all my love, and my gratitude towards you.

C'est un témoignage de la dévotion de ma mère pour la Vierge Marie, la confiance sans bornes qu'elle a en notre Mère du Ciel. Lorsque nous étions plus jeunes, combien de fois a-t-elle insisté pour que nous récitions le chapelet en famille, en début de soirée. Elle ne craignait pas de témoigner de sa foi par la récitation du chapelet, au point de nous rassembler tous, ses enfants, ainsi que nos jeunes amis, catholiques comme protestants. Elle rompait toutes les activités, nous faisait asseoir sur les marches de l'escalier extérieur qui menait au balcon et plaçait la radio sur le rebord de la fenêtre, afin que tous nous récitions le chapelet.

Combien de faveurs a-t-elle reçues de Marie grâce à sa dévotion! Quelques exemples…

This is a testament to the devotion of my mother to the Virgin Mary, the boundless confidence she has in our Heavenly Mother. When we were younger, how many times she insisted that we recited the rosary as a family, in the early evening. She was not afraid to show her faith by the recitation of the rosary, and she would bring us all together, her children and our young friends, Catholic and Protestant. She stopped all the activities, and made us sit on the steps of the balcony; she placed the radio on the windowsill, so all would recite the rosary.

J’ai lu il y a quelques années le livre «Fatima, la Russie et le pape Jean Paul II» (comment Marie est intervenue pour délivrer la Russie de l'athéisme marxiste). On voit dans ce livre qu’il y a vraiment eu un changement rapide en Russie vers les années 1990, qui a mené à l’effondrement du régime communiste. On peut y voir une réponse à la consécration de la Russie au Cœur Immaculé de Marie.
La prière des trois enfants de Fatima et particulièrement de Lucie durant toute sa vie, et de tous ceux qui ont prié dans ce sens, n’a pas été sans résultat.
Ceci m’incite à continuer de prier pour ce pays qui a une place importante sur l’échiquier mondial.

A few years ago I read the book "Fatima, Russia, and Pope John Paul II" (how Mary intervened to deliver Russia from Marxist atheism). We see in this book that there really was a rapid change in Russia in the 1990s, which led to the collapse of the communist regime. We can see a response to the consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The prayer of the three children of Fatima, especially that of Lucia throughout her life, and of all those who prayed for this was not without result.
This leads me to continue to pray for this country that has an important place in the world stage.
