On fête à Notre-Dame-des-Hongrois! ..We are celebrating at Our Lady of Hungary!

Dimanche 19 octobre 2014, la communauté hongroise de Montréal a célébré Zita et Charles, dernier couple impérial de l'empire austro-hongrois. Ce fût l'occasion de souligner le 10e anniversaire de béatification de Charles par Jean-Paul II, et aussi, de prier pour les couples et familles, alors que se clôturait le synode sur la famille à Rome. Au programme de la journée: messe présidée par Mgr Christian Lépine, archevêque de Montréal, puis des danses hongroises et une conférence sur la vie du couple impérial.

C'est l'association pour la béatification de l'Impératrice Zita, en collaboration avec la paroisse Notre-Dame-des-Hongrois, qui a eu l'initiative de cette journée. Sunday, October 19, 2014, the Hungarian community in Montreal celebrated Charles and Zita, the last imperial couple of the Austro-Hungarian empire. This was the occasion to mark the 10th anniversary of the beatification of Charles by John Paul II, and also to pray for couples and families, while at the same time, the Synod on the family was ending in Rome. The program for the day: Mass presided by Msgr Christian Lépine, Archbishop of Montreal, Hungarian dances and a Conference on the imperial couple's life.

It is the Association for the Beatification of Empress Zita, together with the Parish of Our Lady of Hungary, that had the initiative of this day.
